Hari Das was an enigma. Every day, she dealt with life’s darkest, heaviest burdens. She was the lifeline for many, yet she remained light-hearted and quick to laugh, as if she were in on the secret behind life.
It was a great honor to be invited to deliver a Keynote Speech and to be a part of a farsighted brilliant Inspirational Banner Project to inspire and empower young minds that was unveiled at Franklin Central High School in Indiana on Monday
I knew that the larger Hoosier community and leaders that encouraged and created this environment for us to mainstream and pioneer our commitments, our talents and culture are an important reason as to where we are as a City, State, and Hoosier family, and together we are moving forward to get where we feel at home and proudly serve our Nation.
Bhajneet Singh wrote this empowering story with his own family in mind. A turbaned Sikh and avid surfer, Bhajneet’s love for the ocean and nature is captured in the verses of this beautiful book and it’s stunning illustrations. He hopes that future generations will be able to enjoy the bounty and beauty of the Earth, and that this story will inspire kids to protect it.
It has taken time, but with guidance, over the years, I am actively working to replace my worries with faith that God loves us unconditionally. Step by step, I am strengthening my faith and I am happy to share with you that which I have learned along the way.
‘Journey of the Mind’ Sikh Art Exhibition: An Exclusive Review
On the occasion of Parkash Purab of Guru Nanak Dev Ji, let us look at the fruitful and fruitless affairs as per Guru Ji’s own shabad. The Rahaao lines of the shabad convey its essential message, while the other lines are supporting statements plus clarifications to the central idea being conveyed in the Rahaao lines.
This is a story that will not only ignite the imagination of young ones it will inspire them to act in their lives. Most importantly it will assure them that Guru Nanak is present in their lives, personally loving and guiding them.
This space was created for contemplation, a place for art and stories of greatness to be understood through the words of the community and volunteers visiting ‘Without Shape Without Form’. Furthermore, our touring exhibition ‘Journey of the Mind’ will display paintings and handmade drawings by Canadian artist Kanwar Singh and short films by British animator Christian Wood which illustrate the stories of those who had attained the highest spiritual levels, which gave them clarity and foresight to see all as one.
