The film contains commentary on Sikhism directed both at Sikhs and non-Sikhs. And while the characters take positions in accordance to their subjective realities, I hope that certain universal truths come across. Additionally, my intention in making this film was to educate the audience about an issue that is thought about far more than it is talked about.
Over the course of 3 days - various Sikh scholars presented to the delegates -bringing them closer to their beliefs and values. About 45 attended and there was a sense of mutual respect, thankfulness and belonging towards each other. It worked as a great source of networking as some of them only met another Sikh for the very first time - who is serving the same country.

Dr. Balwant Singh, father of Dr. Rajwant Singh, passed away on Monday, May 16, 2011 at the Washington Hospital Center amidst prayers and Sikh hymn recitations. He was a crusader for the people who had sacrificed for India's independence.
