This is a modern folk legend of the spiritual and real help that is given to not just Prahlaad in ages past but the faithful of our modern times. Though it is difficult to place the origin of this story on one person it is a powerful movement.

We have abandoned the seeds that exist in harmony with the environment to plant seeds that ultimately devastate the environment. And since people are the manifestation of seeds, human communities eventually embody that imbalance and devastation.

Maghar Singh was sent to the frontline in France aged just 15, after signing up to fight in the British Indian Army. In 2002, his son joined other Sikhs in Coventry to help set up a memorial on a roundabout on the A444. While praising the memorial, Maghar's grandson Jagdeesh Singh said the location underplayed the Sikh role.

Knowing the name of a disease tells us nothing about its true cause; nor does it lead us to the right treatment. This is the disease delusion.”
