Baisakhi Day is celebrated each year in the Sikh Community of Southern California with an exquisite Kirtan Darbar and royal Nagar Kirtan. Baisakhi Day commemorates the day in 1699 when the 10th Sikh Guru, Guru Gobind Singh Ji, established the Khalsa Panth; a society dedicated to Purity of Spirit.

I can only imagine, as his body was shot and he felt the first sting of the bullet piercing his skin and started to lose consciousness, at 18 years of age what must he have been thinking? Why did I get shot? What did I do to deserve this bullet in my body, what were his last thoughts?
