Our work rests on a conviction that in order to bring about wider change in the world, one must first "become" the change, transforming oneself and one's immediate community and environment. This is how we were able to muster the time and energy to push ahead with our free school application,..

A mother of boys aged 13, 14 and 15, who wear kirpans to school in South Auckland said the 12cm blades were under a shirt and "not hurting anyone".
If any teacher’s clothing creates a continuing distraction, school officials will be able to respond on the basis that an accommodation creates an undue hardship.
