When I was recently asked to give a presentation at the University of Toronto on Sikh women, I instantly knew I should return that honour by presenting on the realities and challenges of the great Sikh women of our past, present and future.

Part of running any organization, is understanding the ‘target’ audience or ‘client’. This requires gathering market intelligence, perhaps through surveys and questionnaires and leveraging historical data to understand patterns of behavior. I have learned that this cannot be a reactive exercise, it must be a proactive exercise.
Sikh dharma also has a vibrant contemplative tradition which may be explored.
