Baba ji was committed to the selfless service for the well being (chardi kalan) of the Sikh Panth throughout his entire life. He was an institution in himself who relentlessly worked for the welfare of the mankind with missionary zeal and the valuable services rendered by him for the construction and renovation of Gurdwaras and Sikh institutions across the country would be ever remembered by one and all.

The first-ever large Sikh representative group or jatha to Bangladesh was flagged off on Monday. The jatha comprising 58 members, including women, will visit various gurdwaras in Bangladesh and return home on December 9.

Welcoming all the religious and political leaders on this occasion, Sant Seechewal said that the call for environment protection should come from all religious places. The condition of environment has worsened as a result of our carelessness and can be improved only through collective efforts.
