Punjab CM mourns demise of Baba Harbans Singh of Kar Sewa Wale

CHANDIGARH: Punjab Chief Minister Parkash Singh Badal Saturday expressed profound grief and sorrow over the sad demise of Baba Harbans Singh ji Kar Sewa Wale who passed away at Delhi on Friday after a brief illness on 21st April.

In a condolence message, the Chief Minister described Baba Harbans Singh ji ‘a great soul and an epitome of benevolence and humility’. Baba ji was committed to the selfless service for the well being (chardi kalan) of the Sikh Panth throughout his entire life. He was an institution in himself who relentlessly worked for the welfare of the mankind with missionary zeal and the valuable services rendered by him for the construction and renovation of Gurdwaras and Sikh institutions across the country would be ever remembered by one and all.
