Although there were people from all parts of the Sikhi spectrum, ie those who had been Amritdhari for many years to those totally new to Sikhi, everyone was able to take something away with them.

Sikhs of Punjabi origin make a special contribution to the class because of their deep connection with the roots and the spirit of our path. We have had students of different faiths come also to be a part of the experience. Both our shared purpose and our diversity allow us all to learn from, support, and inspire one another.

Ek Ong Kaar Kaur Khalsa, Creative Director for Sikh Dharma International, taught a class at the 3HO Summer Solstice Celebration titled, “Teaching Japji Sahib: Awakening to Oneness.”

Gurmat Crash Course- Dus Guru Sahibaan Part 1 mesmerized the Ottawa Sikh Sangat last weekend, when GGSSC- Canada team traveled to Ottawa and presented their winning potpourri of Sikh History blended with the video, interaction, games and topped with a prize of winning game systems like Xbox.

GCCs were designed to engage the North American Youth. We believe that these are smart individuals who, when given the facts with correct references will reason themselves that they need to stand out.. not fit in. It is all the sharing game. What GCCs do is just share our rich history in the format of a a 3 day 2 hours reality show setting.

The focus of the course is to deepen, discover and nurture your own experience of Sikhi.
