“This course has given me the courage to decide that I need to be what I am ..a sikh..so..I will never cut my hair or trim my beard again…” said a teenager boy who has been cutting hair since childhood While Grand Winners received prizes like iPAD, iPOD,Nintendo DS, Toys r Us Gift Cards, these 7 sikh boys and girls were the real winner as he had got back on track!
This is not just about these 6-7 kids, but about all those youth who have been led astray by the glitters of the current world and society which is a jungle of contradicting behaviours and emotions. A north American youth struggles to fit in while keeping his sikhi values..but why does he have to struggle, why this conflict?- says Amarpreet Singh who conducts the GURMAT CRASH COURSES(GCC).

GCCs were designed to engage the North American Youth. We believe that these are smart individuals who, when given the facts with correct references will reason themselves that they need to stand out.. not fit in. It is all the sharing game. What GCCs do is just share our rich history in the format of a a 3 day 2 hours reality show setting. We do not call it lectures and neither it is.. These are shows ..the shows of the great and magnificient history which is kept away in the books which hardly all can read.
GGSSC( Guru Gobind Singh Study Circle ) sevadars read the history and share with the youth on interactive multimedia platforms with games and videos. This has become real popular since its invention a few years back and we are regularly receiving requests to do this every where. However, we believe in 2-3 events in one city per year but real impact building delivery. So much that the students keep in touch with us through out the year.
