We all are acutely aware that with each passing day our world keeps on getting further fragmented into smaller segments as a result of race, religion, caste, country or culture. In order to build bridges, therefore, one may have to depend upon an act of divine intervention.
And divine intervention did indeed take place, when Arizona Interfaith Movement came up with a brilliant idea to build bridges among different faiths. The idea was to compile a book titled as "Interfaith Inspirations for our Globalized world." to be written by active practitioners of 22 different religious traditions represented in Arizona Interfaith Movement.
With a voluntary labor of love by all the contributors, the book was completed in six months and finally unveiled in presence of most of the authors on December 9th in Phoenix, Arizona by Dr. Paul Eppinger, the Executive Director of Arizona Interfaith Movement. The writer of this news item Dr. Jaswant Singh Sachdev along with S.S. Gurukirn Kaur Khalsa (Pic 1) had the privilege to contribute their thoughts from Sikh perspective in this book.![]() |
