Sikhpoint, a newly revamped website focusing on Sikh lifestyle was launched on June 14, 2013. Sikhs across the world are familiar with Sikhpoint calendars that celebrate Sikh art and history, and over the years have become collector's items.
Let's agree what have we done to reflect ourselves in the community? Yet with the weakening economy people are going to portray us as aliens taking up their jobs. Little do they realize that diversity can be a strength. We all stand out; are most visible, yet we haven't done anything to portray ourselves.
Our goal has always been to reach out to the communities. Sikhs have faced "hate crimes". We feel that the media and literature can "Connect Communities". We encourage poetry and contributions. We are all facing tough economy times. The only way is to reach out to the communities and work together.
