Under the aegis of Guru Granth Sahib a grand seminar on heritage of Khalsa and Amrit Banis was organized on July 27, 2013 at Gurdwara Sahib San Jose, California.

Many observers stated that their favourite part of the program was the hand-to-hand combat and Gatka demonstration. Viewers were amazed at how seemingly easily Ustaad Onkar Singh defended himself with a Kamarkasa (length of wide cloth tied around the waist) or umbrella against multiple attackers.

A two day seminar is being held at The Central Gurdwara (Khalsa Jatha), ... London on the 13th and 14th October 2012 between 10.00 am to 6.00 pm. It will be a unique opportunity for the novice to the experienced martial artist to train with Nidar Singh Nihang.
