The Chief Commissioner of Gurdwara elections Harphool Singh Brar attributed the delay in election to floods in parts of Punjab and Haryana. He said that state governments of Punjab and Haryana couldn’t complete the registration of electoral rolls even though the last date of enrollment of voters ended on August 14.
