When i see young Sikh children with their eyes lighting up in the gurdwara, listening to stories, having fun and singing the Gurus praises, i am indebted to the sangat and Guru for creating such positive vibes in the minds and hearts of these young learners.
This is growing faster than i imagined. The kids have so much fun. We face paint, make biscuits, make parsaad, do langar seva, sing shabads, do yoga and meditate!
Navleen Kaur uses the analogy of a game to explain life from a Sikh perspective. The team you play for, how to get on that team, how to win the game and what reward you get for doing it.
Navleen Kaur tells the story about how she met a victim of the 1984 Delhi riots. This woman saw her family murdered in front of her, and raped, yet she remains happy, serviceful and grateful.
