We must face the reality that most of our Gurduaras are defenseless against an active shooter or any sort of violent perpetrator. We are not prepared or outfitted to handle these types of situations ourselves as a sovereign people.
But in Sikhi, while our Guru acknowledges that there is much suffering in life, there is more to life and the universe than mere suffering. No, life is so much more than suffering.
