On our journey to becoming a Sikh...

I Just wanted to thank you for all the inspiration you have given my wife and I on our journey to becoming Sikhs. After calling myself an Atheist for 30 years I have come upon the Sikh religion and life style and it has truly opened my eyes. We have learned a lot and still have a ways to go but have met and visited the Gurdwara in our community & have enjoyed the divan and langar and believe that this is our path. Thank You for your kind messages & inspiration

Quotes:

Not taking things for granted

I just want to let you know what an inspiration SikhNet is. I am a regular visitor of SikhNet and each time I learn something new. I've smiled and I've cried watching your videos. You don't realize what you have until you lose it. I've come to realize that Sikhi (which I took for granted) is something I never want to lose. Sometimes you need someone to hold you by your shoulders and shake you; Sikhnet has done just that for me.  Thank you!

Feeling Uplifted

I have recently discovered SikhNet and have learnt so much.  I am very touched by your interviews, and my understanding of Sikhism and prayers has
deepened. It is a lovely feeling when I see you and the other people involved in SikhNet and I feel part of this 'family'. During my day, I often reflect on some of your words, and they lift me up.

Hugs

I watch your  videos almost on a daily basis and always look forward to new videos from your self. Keep up the amazing work. Sometimes I feel so overjoyed I could almost reach out to you guys and give you a massive hug :)

Unhappiness

At a period when life was tough and I wasn't very happy, SikhNet was a breath of fresh air and awe inspiring. There's so much happiness and good things to read about on SikhNet, that I can't help but smile, forget my worries, and remember how lucky I am to be a Sikh.
