Walking Past Strife
While passing through unbearable strife,
I tried to catch on to dear life.
The dreams of greener pastures,
The thought of an un-assumed laughter.
All flew past my broadened eyes,
But there were numerous questions and whys.
Will I gather my spirit to pass through glut
All hurdles I wished past, all failures to shut.
To come clean in this dirty surround
Where, to countless nays I was bound.
I dared myself and got out of me,
Something different I wanted to be.
To succeed through all hurdle and odd
I planned to trod through rough shod
I got a clear call from inside me.
Advance relentless when you want to be.
Throw off all shackles that force around
Cultures and traditions that kept so bound.
Walk through free from all nasty net
I advanced into world of my own duly set.
Ensured that all restrictions are blown
From being someone else, I turned into my own.
Soon some invisible hand had come in aid
That helped me in all through difficulties wade.
The energy from no-where entered into me,
I had to go and go I could see.
Throwing off all shackles I waded free,
Keeping in mind that someone I would be.
I succeeded finally creating a new world,
Flying gleefully like a free bird
I remembered Him then who held my hand,
Who made me to advance into this new land
I bowed my head and thanked him indeed
Whose words now I always heed.
