Entrepreneurship Bootcamp and Business Plan Competition for Local High School Students to be held on University of Maryland and George Mason University Campuses.
May 04, 2012: TiE DC, regional chapter of the global non-profit membership and mentoring organization for entrepreneurs, announced today The Young Entrepreneurs (TyE) Program for 2012, powered by Infinite Computer Solutions. Infinite Computer Solutions (India) Limited is a global provider of infrastructure management services (IMS) mobility and intellectual property (IP) leveraged solutions and application management services.
“We’re proud to sponsor a program that stimulates creativity and entrepreneurial spirit in high school students,” said Infinite Computer Solutions founder and non-executive chairman, Sanjay Govil. “TyE offers students an opportunity to explore what it takes to build a business, and learn directly from successful entrepreneurs.”
TyE is a nine-day entrepreneurship bootcamp for high school students, culminating in a global business plan competition. This year’s program has expanded to two sessions for 30 students each at the campuses of George Mason University’s School of Management and the Dingman Center for Entrepreneurship at the Robert H. Smith School of Business, University of Maryland.

The 2012 TyE bootcamp runs from June 20-29. Applications are being accepted through May 10. About TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Global Program The aim of the TiE Young Entrepreneurs (TYE) Global Program is to empower our youth to become the next generation of entrepreneurs. TYE Global is a unique program that helps high school children learn about the challenges and rewards of becoming an entrepreneur. Seasoned entrepreneurs and mentors coach high school children (grades 9-12) based on a business-focused curriculum. The program comes to a close with global Business Plan Competition for the youth.
