The Sikh Coalition is proud to announce the promotion of former Advocacy Director, Neha Singh, to the position of Western Regional Director, and the promotion of former staff attorney Harsimran Kaur, to the position of Legal Director.

Neha and Harsimran will both staff the Sikh Coalition's new Western Region Office in Fremont, California.  Neha Singh officially opened the new office last week.  Harsimran will join Neha this coming November.

The addition of Harsimran Kaur and Neha Singh to the Western Region office represents a significant investment in the well-being of the Sikh Coalition's new West Coast Office.

Neha Singh is a Yale-trained attorney who led the successful charge to persuade the TSA to change airport search policies that led to unfair profiling of Sikh air passengers.  Harsimran has become a nationally-recognized expert on religious discrimination in the workplace.  Just last week, the American Bar Association invited Harsimran to speak on a panel on workplace discrimination at its national convention in Denver, Colorado.  Harsimran was joined on the panel by EEOC Commissioner Stuart Ishimaru and the General Counsel of the Starbucks corporation.
