When you’re 7-foot-5 and 360 pounds like Toronto’s Sim Bhullar is sometimes your strength knows no bounds. And sometimes you straight up shatter backboards.

That’s what the centre (unintentionally) did at the Air Canada Centre during a Team Canada practice Friday as they prepare for their upcoming Pan Am Games tournament.

Canada takes on Dominican Republic on July 21, the opening day of the men’s tourney.

Luckily, no players near the hoop were injured as the glass remained partially in tact and in the frame.

The team’s athletic therapist Krisjon Vargas took this Instagram video to document the aftermath.
