This year will be another Camp Miri Piri. It has lots of Kirtan, Banis, and discussion. Camp Miri Piri is a special camp, not only is there great information and workshops but the emphasis is on experience. On top of that it is a personal challenge with the physical program including martial arts. This camp has been developed over years of experience from it's core team of teachers. Wherever this camp is taught, people have expressed that it has been life changing. The style of teaching and curriculum is borrowed from Miri Piri Academy which implements a balanced approach to a dharmic education and has been doing so for years. In fact one of the main teachers of Camp Miri Piri is Jugat Guru Singh who is also the Executive Principal at Miri Piri Academy.

Bibi Inderjit Kaur, affectionately called 'Bibi ji' is the wife of Siri Singh Sahib Yogi Bhajan and is unique in Sikh history as the first women in a couple, with her husband, to have been awarded the title of 'Panth Rattan'. She will make a special appearance at the camp and is sure to delight that sangat with her stories.

SikhNet's vary own Guruka Singh will also be teaching at the camp among several other bright souls who will be participating as seva.

This particular camp is being held in Espanola New Mexico at gurdwara 'Siri Singhasan E Khalsa'. The SikhNet team and many other Khalsas call this place home, it is where Siri Singh Sahib made his headquarters. Many people experience the healing vibration of the land itself, it is a great place to have a Sikh camp.

Looking at the schedule I was inspired. These classes look amazing. And not just the classes, but the martial arts, and exercise program.

Below is an image of Sada Sat Simran Singh Khalsa from the Chardi Kala Jatha leading a class in hand to hand self defense.

Gurutej Singh Khalsa is a poet, warrior, scholar, author, meditator and a senior teacher for camp Miri Piri. Below he is leading the group in stretching exercises. Above is one of the more difficult, but still fun, physical work outs lead by Gurutej Singh. A good way to start the day!

Come to this camp, learn about yourself, develop your strength, and bring that back home with you. This camp is to train you to be a leader in your community.

Below is an image of a special session with just the ladies. Elsewhere the men are having their own session. Teachings just for women and men are a staple of the camp and always enhance the depth, experience and bonding.
