Book Release at World Punjabi Conference, Ludhiana (20–22 February 2026)
The three-day World Punjabi Conference, held from 20–22 February 2026 at Gurdwara Guru Gyan Prakash, Ludhiana, commemorated the 350th Guryai Diwas of Guru Gobind Singh under the theme “Shri Guru Gobind Singh Ji: Life, Bani and Legacy.” The conference brought together scholars, religious leaders, and literary figures to discuss the Guru’s historical, spiritual, and literary contributions.
A major highlight of the event was the release of the book Guru Gobind Singh, authored by Dr. Jasbir Singh Sarna (J&K). The book was formally released by Sant Amir Singh, Head of Jawaddi Taksal, in the presence of eminent academicians and scholars including Dr Dharamjit Singh, Vice Chancellor of Sant Baba Bhag Singh University Bhagwara, along with Dr Gurnek Singh, Dr Amar Singh, Sant Teja Singh Khudha, Dr Asa Singh Ghuman, Dr Harjodh Singh, and Dr P S Mansa.
Speakers appreciated the book as a valuable scholarly contribution examining the life, bani, and enduring legacy of Guru Gobind Singh. The conference reaffirmed the importance of academic collaboration in promoting Punjabi language, literature, and Sikh heritage.
