AMBALA, Haryana (January 12, 2015)—Bhai Gurbaksh Singh Khalsa’s press secretary Bhai Gurpreet Singh Guri has clarified that Bhai Khalsa was not willing to take medical treatment but police forcibly took Bhai Khalsa to hospital following the advice of doctors. The doctors warned if Bhai would not be admitted to hospital, he would go into a state of unconsciousness.
Guri clarified that police pressurized Bhai Khalsa’s son Jujhar Singh and under the pressure the latter gave the statement in front of media that it was Bhai Khalsa’s decision to be admitted. He said police has been pressurizing him for the last 15 days to go to hospital but Bhai Khalsa had been rejecting their advice. When they failed to conciliate him, they picked him up against his will.
