The Sikh Clergy is facing flak from several quarters for pursuing legal action against those who tattoo specific Sikh symbols and verses of the holy Gurbani on their body.

A conference was held at Upper Darby Gurdwara in Philadelphia, to discuss the human rights situation in Punjab vis-à-vis arrests of Akali Dal Panch Pardhani leaders and charging of the 5 Dal Khalsa men under sedition law by Delhi court in the 31 year old case.

The Dal Khalsa called today for cutting the bureaucrat flab, said the Punjab government decision to have seven officers in the rank of Director general of Police would put further burden on the taxpayers in the state.
