He explained what they would be doing at the camp, they pray, meditate, study, think about the teachings and find out about their religion. His father's reply has stuck with him ever since, "What's Christian about that?"

The story of the British Indian army on the Western Front starts on 6th August 1914. On that day, the War Council asks the Indian government to send two infantry divisions and a cavalry brigade to Egypt. The divisions chosen were the Lahore and the Meerut Divisions, later followed by the Secunderabad Cavalry Brigade which together formed the Indian Army Corps.
News: School Board Trustee Appointed
Jagdeep Mann, a Ward 10 resident, has been chosen by trustees to serve on the board until this current term of office formally ends Nov. 30, 2014. “I want to make sure my children… all the children, especially in Wards 9 and 10 and Peel get access to the best education possible,” Mann said after his appointment.
