CANADIAN Sikhs are learning more about one of the first Sikh scholars and activists to arrive in Canada through the launch of a new book on the life of Sant Teja Singh.

Experiments at the Thunder Bay Agricultural Research Station have paid off with flax and winter rye crops growing on area farms.

We do 60-70 free hot meals and goody bags with crisps and cans of juice every Monday and Tuesday night, and we also take food to a homeless shelter and a church. We probably distribute food for 200 people every week.
