Bhai Harbans Singh Jagadhari Wale had carved a niche among the raagis as a person who explained the shabads using simple idioms. His Bhog Ceremony, which took place in Ludhiana on Sunday, was attended by people from all walks of life, including SGPC president Avtar Singh Makkar and Akal Takht Jathedar Giani Gurbachan Singh. He died on May 13 of prolonged illness at the age of 71.

The film contains commentary on Sikhism directed both at Sikhs and non-Sikhs. And while the characters take positions in accordance to their subjective realities, I hope that certain universal truths come across. Additionally, my intention in making this film was to educate the audience about an issue that is thought about far more than it is talked about.
News: Armed Forces 5th 'Chardi Kala' Sikh Moral and Development Course held
Over the course of 3 days - various Sikh scholars presented to the delegates -bringing them closer to their beliefs and values. About 45 attended and there was a sense of mutual respect, thankfulness and belonging towards each other. It worked as a great source of networking as some of them only met another Sikh for the very first time - who is serving the same country.
