Sukhmandir Kaur is the moderator for the Sikh inspirational group PanthKhalsa.org/NaamNet and a member of the editorial and advisory boards of several Sikhism, or Gurmat, educational websites. Sukhmandir is also the president of the Dharam Khand Sikh Academy in San Martin, California. When complete, the academy will instruct children in Sikhi discipline and the Gurmat beliefs.
Sukhmandir has written hundreds of articles on topics related to Sikhism. They enjoy performing and singing Kirtan, an ancient Sikh narrative music form, and participating in the Sikh dining tradition of Langar Seva, or serving food to the community. Sukhmandir has co-written and and edited several books on the Gurmat teachings and Naam Simran meditation.
