Rupinder Singh Brar is a cardiologist practicing in Yuba City, California and is the director of non-invasive cardiology lab at Rideout Hospital. Before moving to Yuba City he trained in medicine in India and finished his fellowship at Rush University in Chicago. He is one of the founding member of the Sikh Community Center in Yuba City, where he teaches Sikh history to high school students on Sundays. Besides medicine, personal interests include English and Punjabi literature, as well as history, culture and anthropology. Besides scientific papers, he published a few articles for Pakistani liberal blogs.
