Dr. Daya Singh Sandhu is the Director of Research and Professor of Counselor  Education & Supervision in Doctoral Program at Lindsey Wilson College in Columbia, Kentucky.  Previously, he served as the Distinguished Professor of Research and Chairman of the Educational and Counseling Psychology Department at the University of Louisville for 24 years.  As a prolific author, Dr. Sandhu has authored or edited more than 125 publications including 13 textbooks.   He received numerous awards at the national and international levels.  Dr. Sandhu has been the three-time recipient of the highly prestigious Senior Fulbright Research Fellowship for India.   Dr. Daya Singh Sandhu is a staunch adherent of Sikhism.  As the Founding President of the Sikh Society of Kentucky, he established in Louisville the very first Gurudwara ever in the state of Kentucky.
