Sikhism, a revealed religion, is the youngest among the major world faiths. This system, as preached by Guru Nanak, has a universal appeal and an eternal relevance. Guru Nanak is, in fact, the revealer of a new gospel, the founder of a new faith, the perfect example of piety and deep devotion.
The very purpose of introducing this shabad above by Kabir Ji is to share an eyewitness account of an enlightened person. As we have not personally experienced it, relating to it is difficult.

In my creative exploration I have found that each scene is individually so potent with emotion and meaning that every painting must stand alone in style, colour and form so that it can convey its' own singular message.
As we stand up to assert our sovereignty to defend our way of life, let us do so for the entire human race - for Sarbat Da Bhala. Let us dedicate every meeting, every word and every action so that one day all people, no matter where they live, will feel protected and safe to worship the Creator according to their own consciousness and their own choice.
The shrine itself, centrally placed amidst a huge marble courtyard, marks the site where Guru Nanak was cremated. Adjacent to it is a smaller canopy with a platform covered in an embroidered chadar (sheet), just as one would find in dargahs of Muslim pirs (saints).
