September 17, 2013: A mammoth gathering at Talkatora Indoor Stadium New Delhi on 15th September 2013 of Sikhs from all over India organised by Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi, resolved the resolutions after considering religious political and social issues of the Sikhs. The organizers assured the gathering that these resolutions will put into practice with full sincerity and commitment.

1) Todays gathering resolved to request to Sri Akal Thakat Sahib to chalk out a definite Strategy for removing the increasing practice of Apostity, drugs etc among sikh youth with the help of all the sikh organizations , Sikhs saints and the followers of sikh faith.

2) Today's gathering of sikhs resolved to urge upon the Govt of India to completely abolish the Black list of NRI Sikhs to enable them to visit the ancestral places and sikh shrines of India . Although with the efforts of Shriomani Akali Dal Delhi , many names of Sikhs has been already been deleted from the black list but more efforts in this regard are required.

3) Today's Panthak Gathering urges that Govt of India issue long term visas to sikh refugees of Afganistan and do the sincere efforts be made to grant them Indian citizenships.

4) Today's gathering demands a fair deal from the president of India on the a mercy petion being filed to condone the death sentence to Sardar Davinder pal singh Bhullar after getting legal opnion from ministry of law.

5) Todays gathering demand from the Chief Minister of Gujrat shri Narender Modi to withdraw the appeal filed in supreme court against the decision of Gujrat highcourt upholding the status of sikh Farmers of Gujrat . The athering also urged the Chief minister of Punjab to withdraw from NDA in case of gujrat Govt fails to do so.

6) Today's gathering shows great concern over the use of intoxicants I balanted use of black money , political and govt interference during the elections of Delhi Gurdwara Management Committee and urges that the definite policy be framed to avoid such practices in future for religious elections.

7) In Today's gathering thanks , Shri Bhupinder singh Hooda , Chief Minister of Haryana and Govt of Haryana for a passing the resolution in Haryana Legislative Assembly favouring the extension of lease to 99 years and restoring the right of Sikh farmers of Haryana.

8) Today's gathering of Sikh representative urges the Govt of Punjab and other states to withdraw the cases of Sikhs who were involved in Sikh Struggle and release the innocent detaines.

9) Today's is gathering of Sikhs demands from Govt of India to include the name of Sikh Universities among other minority universities being established in India , in Delhi or near by.

10) Today's panthak gathering appeals to the Jathedar Akal Thakat Sahib to reconsider the decision of TANKHAYA SIKHS. The gathering urges that those Sikhs who are dedicated to Shri Akal Thakat Sahib be accepted in the mainstream.

11) Today's Gathering demands to provide the proper place to Punjabi language literature and culture in Delhi University and shows concern for the discriminatory attitude being shown by the authorities of Delhi University.

12) Today's gathering of Sikhs feels concern that the vision and ideals of Shiromani Akali Dal in the team spirit is not being pursued So the gathering resolved to revive the Shiromani Akali Dal as per the vision of its founders of 1920.

13) Today's gathering resolved to demand that in the interest of Sikh Panth to direct all the elected members of SGPC , DGMC and other sikh organizations not to contest any election for political gains.

14) Today's gathering of Sikh representatives demands from the Govt of India to amend the constitution in such a way that the uniqueness and exclusiveness of Sikhs be maintained.

15) Today's gathering directs the Dharam Parchar Committee and youth wing of Shiromani Akali Dal Delhi to Chalk out a well planned strategy for the propagation of Sikh tenets among the sikh youth so that they refrain from apostity,drugs and other social menaces.

16) Today's gathering demands from the Govt of Canada and Govt of India to impress upon Quebec state of Canada to accept the Sikh symbols as way of life for the Canadian Sikhs . The gathering also resolves to request all the countries to accept the Sikh Symbols for Sikhs in their respective countries.

17) Today's is gathering of Sikhs demands from the Govt of India and other state of India to give proper representations to the Sikhs in different organizations, socities and Government Bodies.
