Sikhs around the world are going to wear white ribbons in solidarity and to remember those who've recently been martyred in the Wisconsin shooting.

The slogan behind this ribbon campaign is "Stand Against Hate."

Ribbon Making Instructions:

1. Cut each end of the ribbon at a 45-degree angle. Make sure the angles point in opposite directions so when the ribbon is laid out horizontally it has one shorter side. Lay the ribbon on a flat surface with the shorter side on top.

2. Take the left side and fold it across the center of the ribbon, then angle it so it points downward.

3. Hold the left side in place and fold the right side in the same way, across the midpoint and down.

4. The ribbon can be sewn together where it crosses by machine or by hand with a few stitches of pink thread. You can also use super strength glue to hold the ribbon together

5. Flip it over. Attach a small safety pin or double stick tape to wear the ribbon on your lapel.
