A Sikh student, a Sikh entrepreneur and a Sikh activist were among the 150 guests at the White House conference on bullying prevention this month. Gurwinder Singh, 18, shared his stories of being bullied in his New York City middle school and offered some ideas during group discussions on how to deal with bullies. Jasjit Singh of SALDEF was a guest as was Mandeep Singh Dhillon, creater of the kids social network Web site Togetherville, who urged schools to collect and track data on bullying.
