Too many are the stories of people who leave the Sikh path. Many also don’t know much about it in the first place. There is a fear among adults that our youth will not remain Sikhs. But for every problem there must be a solution. Where there is the darkness of ignorance, there must also be the light of inspiration. Sharanpreet Singh, originally from India, shared some of his journey with us:

“Most of the Sikhs are lost and have no idea what Sikhism actually stands for and that is being exploited by so many different so-called preachers. SikhNet provided me a platform where I can freely share my views and what I feel about Sikhism. My Guru has guided me all along my life and taught me wonderful things that I want to share with others, and through Sikhnet, I can do that ...”

Your donation provides that platform for Sharanpreet Singh and fellow Sikhs like him. Thanks to you, Sharanpreet Singh can explore his connection to his faith. Please donate to SikhNet today so the inspiration can continue.

Even people who have never heard of Sikhism learn about it through SikhNet. Our attitude is simple: These teachings belong to everyone. What the Gurus taught has value for every person alive.

“I had my hair cut while I was a little boy. For some time I had been getting a calling to be a Khalsa and be an example for others to follow. I had some doubts about leading such a life as it is a very hard path to follow through, but I knew I had to do it as that was the only way I could be at peace. When I came to SikhNet all my doubts vanished and now I am fully prepared to take the step and be a true Khalsa.”
- Sharanpreet Singh

The credit goes to you who support the seva that SikhNet is blessed to be able to do. Thank you! It is you who are building the network of support that uplifts us all.

It is because of donations from people like YOU that SikhNet is able to help inspire people on their journey of faith. As a non-profit organization, our support has always come from the cyber-sangat. This has kept SikhNet going. Without you, there would be no services like the Daily Hukamnama, the Daily News, the Gurbani Media Center, SikhNet Radio, the Children's Audio Stories and much more. Your donation ILLUMINATES THE SIKH HEART.

Thank you for being part of our online sangat. If you are a donor, please consider increasing your gift this year by $10, $20, or even more. If you are not already a donor, please consider becoming one today.

Here are some questions to consider:
1. Are the services that SikhNet provides very important?
2. If you do not donate, who will?

Thank you for your help. May all beings prosper by the grace of the holy Naam.

Nanak Naam Chardi Kala, Tere Bhane Sarbat Da Bhalaa!

Thank you!
