Piare Khalsa ji,

Waheguru ji ka Khalsa,
Waheguru ji ki Fateh!

What I read from this Sikh Bibi and the help provided by the 'Sikh Help Line' is worth appreciating. I would like to make some points from the Sikh point of view as well as a parent.

First, It is worth appreciating that the 'Bibi' in the picture wrote as to what had been happening to her in particular and our Sikh children, whose parents are either virtually 'devoid' of the Gurmat and the Guru Khalsa Panth, including the Sikh Code of Conduct alias the Sikh Rahit Maryada. Also, the conduct of our Sikh institutions, religious and political both, as these institutions have been taken over by the fundamentalism, derevaad, Sadhs, or the politicians virtually 'devoid' of the Sikh politics. The Sikh politics and religion, which are inseparable from each other and the both go concurrently.

Yes, our children have been growing and they are or have been entering in the stage, where they need their life time partners. The question is do the parents discuss the future of their children and the steps they would have to take, with in the Sikh Rahit Maryanda? Or, else they leave everything to the 'WILL' of the Almighty? Yes, it happens with the WILL of the Almighty, but where is the Almighty? Would the parent(s) care to answer this question and discuss to themselves and then with their children, male and female or son(s) and daughter(s) both. We have been living in the 21st centuries and not the 20th century, where the Sikh Culture and Religion is under 'severe' attack, and will remain so as long we have the political leaders like a Brahmin (Hanera) Sinh Badal and religious like the Brahmin Badal's appointee, Gurbachan Sinh, to the Sikhs Supreme Seat of Sikh Polity, The Akal Takht Sahib. Does our young generation of Sikhs and a vast majority of the Sikhs and Sikh parents know about their Darbar Sahib Complex, including The Akal Takht Sahib? When the religious and political institutions are in the "Prison" of the Sikhs' enemy, the Brahmins-Hindus-turbaned Brahmins, what can be expected for our Sikh children to follow the Gurus' teachings or the teachings inscribed in the Sikhs' Holy Scripture or Guru Granth Sahib? Yes, Khalsa ji, for the Sikh religion, the 6th largest religion of our world, the times are tough, our enemy (Brahmins-Hindus-turbaned Brahmin Rats) is all out to 'swallow' us. I do not think this problem, along with other problems, are discussed in our Gurdwaras. The places where a Sikh's life begin and ends as well. Unfortunately, these precious institutions have driven our Sikh children and younger generations out of their places. Why, these is not even a single Gurdwara where the Sikhs' enemy is not present because the Gurdwaras' door are open to anyone without creed, religion, cast, color, etc. This is the beauty of our Gurdwaras that despite all these problems agents the Sikhs, of the Sikhs, they are open to everyone. Our Sikh children must know it.

Further, as the saying says that the charity begins at home. It is therefore, utmost necessary that the family (parents and children) must get together around the dinning table once in a day to discuss what is going on in the family, in our society and the society of the country where we have been living. To make the long story short, it is parents duty and children as well that 'inter-cast marriage which is not in the accordance of the Gurmat/Sikh Rahit Maryada is/will not be acceptable to the Guru Khalsa Panth. The Sikh religion does not believe in 'changing one's religion or conversion; whereas, the Islam demands and/or believes in conversion. The Brahmins-Hindus have been intimidating non-Brahmins-Hindus to convert. They do not tell that neither the Brahmins-Hindus are a religion nor a culture, however.

One of the hidden fact of an 'undeclared' war on the Sikh Nation, "Robbed" PUNJAB of 15th August, 1947, in the form of a brutal military "Operation Bluestar" in June, 1984, had/had been to 'exterminate' the productive Sikh youth in the fake encounters in 1980s and 1990s and let the productive Sikh females be married to the Brahmins-Hindus, to absorb them into the Hindus and their -ism. This will be one of the ways to 'Exterminate' the Sikh Religion. Indeed, the Brahmins-Hindus-turbaned Brahmins tried their best, using the armed forces, intelligence and armed personnel, but they have been not only unsuccessful but frustrated. What has been the reason to destroy the Darbar Sahib Complex, including Akal Takht Sahib, and other Gurdwaras? To get rid the Sikhs at any cost. However, they did not succeed even by using espionage activities against the Sikhs living outside their Holy and Historic Homeland PUNJAB.

Regarding the followers of Islam youth, before I write the answer let me ask you did Sikh girls not go out with the Brahmins-Hindus or they not married to non-Sikhs? If they did, the Sikh Code of Conduct has/has been violated. Second, do the Sikh parents discuss the enriched history of Sikhism, did they ever discuss/taught them? Please do not expect that your history will be taught in Gurdwaras, schools, high schools, universities, etc. Yes, these institutions do their work, but please remember that with the Sikh monies supported Sikh Chairs have been doing far more anti-Sikh work to mislead the Sikh children, Sikh academics, and internationally non-Sikhs. Who is behind this non-Sikh and anti-Sikh activities? No one but the Brahmins-Hindus-turbaned Brahmin Rats of the alleged Indian democrazy/democracy, where more than 86% population goes to sleep hungry, since 15th August, 1947.

About the Bibi who had been abused and out the Sikh Help Line, married to a Muslim boy knowing that she would have to be converted to Islam and the children would have to be trained as the followers of the Islam. Yes, these points have to be taken into consideration before marriage.

Why did the parents abdicate their responsibility? It should be remembered that the followers of the Islam may be your better friends. None of the Sikh Guru Sahibaans taught us to be anti-Islam. If so, the Granth Sahib will not teach us "Aval Allah Noor Upaya Kudrat ke ye Bande, Ek Noor the Sab Jag Upjaya Kaun Bhale ko Mande." But when the question comes to choose a partner for marriage, for a Sikh must be a Sikh (boy or girl). Why to buy problems before marriage?

Be a good friend to a Muslim, Christian, Buddhist, but watch out when the friendship changes/about to change into a different relationship. Your mind only cannot guide you. You need your parents, Sikh traditions, Gurdwaras, and the Sikh Code of Conduct, to say the least.

Best wishes and warmest regards.

Your brother,

Awatar Singh Sekhon (Machaki)
