These organizations also erased the illusion from the minds of some people by proving that Sikhs are plaintiff of welfare of all communities and their togetherness in society, like their past. It is worth mentioning that President of India, Narinder Modi remained limited to just an Air Survey after this natural disaster in Jammu & Kashmir. But Sikh organizations Shiromani Gurdwara Management Committee, Delhi Sikh Gurdwara Management Committee, Takht Sri Abchal Nagar Hazoor Sahib Management Committee along with some other organizations sent ration, drinking water, blankets, medicines and also monetary help for the victims of floods in Jammu & Kashmir.

Along with these organizations, volunteers of UK based Khalsa Aid and Sikh Relief, Australia based ‘Australian Sikh Support’, Canada’s Sikh Awareness Foundation, and ‘Waheguru Adventure’ successfully won the hearts of flood victims by serving them day and night. Where the SGPC, DSGMC and other organizations were having unlimited money and other resources, these volunteers were have sentiments of doing anything to serve humanity. These volunteers were very few in counting, but they were capable of reaching victims of floods by driving every type of vehicle in all circumstances.
