launched their debut event -

THE GURMAT CONNECTION

After successfully connecting with the youth through Gurmat Crash Courses, Weekly Kirtan programs and Gurmat Picnics, GGSSC Canada Youth Wing has officially come out with a new concept – THE GURMAT CONNECTION. The Gurmat Connection 1 was held at Ontario Khalsa Darbar, Dixie Road.

Based on feedback available from various attendees in the past, Youth are seeking a forum where they can seek advise on many issues which are taboos to even talk about. There are various such important issues like- Drugs in School, Peer Pressure, Love and Relationships, Fashion and Sikhi.

Gurmat Connection 1 was focused on DRUGS AND PEER PRESSURE. It was very successful with over 70 attendees and triggered a lot of discussions from the participants. The advisory panel included S. Jatinder Singh ji (Pharmacist), Dr. Tarnjit Kaur (Homeopath) , S. Satnam Singhji ( Engineer) and S. Amarpreet Singh (Pharmacist). The panel is an active sevadar team of GGSSC Canada.

Gurmat Connection was facilitated by the sevadars of GGSSC Youth Wing- S. Harjote Singhji and Bibi Amandeep Kaurji. The presentation was delivered by Bibi Sharan Kaur- President of GGSSC- Canada Youth Wing. The IT coordination and management was taken care by S. Jaskaran Singhji and Supporting Seva was delivered by S. Brahmdeep Singhji. GGSSC- Canada congratulates these youth for pulling together such a great and important program that will help youth to connect with GURMAT.The website is igurmat.com.
