The Khalsa Raj Yatra spent the New Year in complete Cherdi Kala.  On New Year's eve, the Yatrees all accompanied the students of Miri Piri Academy on their annual tradition at the Golden Temple, where the entire school dips in the nectar tank and recites Benti Chopaee. The whole sadh sangat of hundred of thousands around the Perkarma chanting Bole So Nihal as the the New Year was rung in.

There was so much joy and gratitude and happiness all around that everyone was glowing and beaming with the light of Guru Ram Das ji. Darbar Sahib was itself so glowing that you could feel Guru Ram Das Ji's presence.‎

Then, on New Year's day the group accompanied the Cherdi Kala Jetha who played Kirtan at the 10 O'Clock slot at Darbar Sahib. Many of the Yatrees were able to sit inside the temple and listened to their kirtan which was so beautiful and uplifting.

Editor's Note: The Raj Khalsa Yatra of Western Sikhs to the 350th Anniversary Celebrations in honor of Guru Gobind Singh's birth was organized by Sikh Dharma International.  #RajKhalsaYatra2017
