Dr. Jasbir Singh Sarna, a distinguished scholar and literary figure, has been honored with the prestigious Bulleh Shah Award 2024 by the Bullah Shah Adabi Sangat, Kasur, Pakistan. The award ceremony took place on August 31, 2024, in the historic city of Kasur, which holds a significant place in the cultural and intellectual history of the region, being the resting place of the revered Sufi poet, Hazrat Bulleh Shah.The Bulleh Shah Award, named after the renowned 18th-century Sufi mystic, is bestowed upon individuals who have made remarkable contributions to the fields of literature, culture, and intellectual thought.
