Internship and Fellowship Opportunities Internship Program - Summer 2013 The Sikh Coalition internship program allows students pursuing undergraduate or graduate studies to gain hands-on experience in promoting the civil and human rights of all individuals. Throughout the years, interns have worked to further the mission and vision of the Sikh Coalition by helping to achieve legal victories, as well as educating and empowering the community and contributing to the growth of the organization. Internships are available in the following program areas: Advocacy - Community Development - Education Our interns are given real responsibility and have the opportunity to effect noticeable change in the Sikh community through involvement in the Coalition’s ground-breaking work. Fellowship Program The Sikh Coalition is launching a new fellowship program. Fellows will work out of one of three Coalition offices around the country, New York City, Fremont, CA, or Washington, DC. Fellows will gain invaluable hands-on experience in a multitude of areas. The Sikh Coalition is looking for bright, creative passionate individuals who hold a bachelor’s degree. Candidates will be required to work a flexible 20 hrs/week for about 9 months and will receive a monthly stipend.
