EcoSikh releases Gurbani Collection on Nature 'Eak Bageecha' in celebration of Sikh Environment Day - March 14 ~ Gurdwaras and Preachers can use to convey the message
Waheguru Ji Ka Khalsa, Waheguru Ji Ki Fateh!
Dear Sadh Sangat Ji,
EcoSikh is proud to announce that the Gurdwara Guide and the Gurbani Compilation 'Eak Bageecha,' (Punjabi and English versions) have been uploaded to our website. This will be helpful for Ragis and others orators who would want to elaborate Gurbani's message during the celebration of the Sikh Environment Day on March 14th which is the Gurgaddi Diwas of Guru Har Rai ji. ( Many Gurdwaras and major Sikh organizations all across the globe are celebrating this day)
One can will find all the necessary resources here. EcoSikh is requesting everyone to share these materials with their respective Gurdwara committees a week in advance.
Khalsa schools in the Sikh Diaspora will have an opportunity to participate in a Sikh environmental education workshop prepared by the Sikh Research Institute. The lesson will be made available to the public by the end of this week. SikhRI will also host an online webinar for children on March 19th.
Finally, some have requested a video or documentary on the topic of the environment to share with their sangat. We suggest that they screen 'Eco-Punjab: Five Rivers Run Dry' by director Navdeep Kandola which is available online.
We thank you for making the first Sikh environment day in history a resounding success. May the Khalsa always remain spiritually exalted, and always in service of humanity.
Saar Sambhal Mata Dharat Di,
EcoSikh Team.
