GotTalent (39K)The publicly declared second runners-up of India's got talent season 2 are the real champions in the eyes of their own community. They've made us really proud by their performance in the show which left most of us in tears.

But the element of doubt always remains about the fabrication of the results of this event at the back-end and that too because the show's team didn't maintained the transparency of the results of the number of votes polled to the contestants and also the proportion according to which the public votes were assigned weight age.

Though in a world class competition where the competition is cut-throat, no mercy can be expected but as per the norms of common sense, death-defying stunts deserve much more than drum beating or flamboyant dancing/ singing.

One needs a strong heart to watch Singhs playing GATKA. And, the reactions of the judges couldn't hide the trauma that they went through when they saw it for the first time, in fact, evry time they saw it. Sajid's reaction to the very first performance of the group was obnoxiously critical and he ultimately took his time to digest the visual fury of sikh martial art. Was it because he genuinely started liking it or was it because his reaction was highly opposed by the mainstream sikh religious leaders who called his line of thinking as "Narrow-mindedness".

There is no denying the fact that the competition was really tough as most of the finalists came up with different talents which clearly had different parameters of judgment but there was something in common between all the performances i.e they had to ultimately depend upon the public voting and there was no transparency about it which inevitably leaves an element of doubt.

The conspicuous presence of the honorable Chief Minister of the state (whose team won) on the show does make the figment of doubt stronger about the backend negotiations which inevitably happen in a show of such a huge stature.

But! In the end the tears of those who lost and the smiles of those who won made all the figments of doubt shy away. And, the enigma of the grand finale just collapsed when the world witnessed the roaring lions of the Khalsa panth, BIR KHALSA group, accepting the second-runners up trophy smilingly after all those death defying stunts. Once more they've shown the true spirit of Khalsahood to the world by their bravery and sportsmanship which transcends all the probable crook that is likely to have happened to bar them from winning the show.

But! one thing is very-very CLEAR that Bir Khalsa Dal has definitely earned us a lot more than the cheque of 50 lakh rupees that they could've won for themselves, and that is HONOUR and INTEGRITY which will definitely be a big leap for our community to break the shackles of global identity crisis that our community is going through.
