I am a British Sikh medical student undertaking research focusing on the difference between British and Canadian Sikhs when it comes to knowledge on stem cell and organ donation. This is a substantially large study which has been put together with the help of NHS, leading haematologists and surgeons involved in organ donation in the UK where I reside.
The study is looking specifically at Sikhs as this has never been done before! The results are to be used by British and Canadian health authorities to improve services to Siukhs in the future. This means improved marketing and increasing the standard of knowledge among Sikh on stem cell and organ donation. Stem cell and organ donation are needed to battle life-threatening diseases including various cancers, so this study will help the Sikh community in the long term by attempting to find ways to increase the number of Sikhs on the stem cell and organ donation registers.
In order to make the study as successful as possible, I need British and Canadian Sikhs (we are really low on Canadian Sikh respondents) to complete a questionnaire which takes only 3 minutes! It would be appreciated if you (and possibly more people through recommendations) could complete the survey!
The questionnaire can be completed on any smart device or computer:
