November 11th, 2013 - LAHORE(INP): The celebrations of 545th birth anniversary of first Sikh Guru and founder of Sikhism, Baba Guru Nanak starts from November 15 in Pakistan. On the occasion, around 3000 Sikh pilgrims from around the country, 5000 from India and almost 10,000 Sikh and Hindu pilgrims from throughout the world will reach Nankana Sahib. The pilgrims will go to Gurdwara Sacha Soda on November 16. They will take out a procession from their central Gurdwara Janam Asthan to Satia Karanti along with their holy scripture, Guru Granth Sahib, placed in a decorated vehicle. Besides, the Sikh yatris will also visit Gurdwara Panja Sahib, Dera Sahib, Kartarpur, Sacha Sauda, Gurdwara Aimanabad and Nankana Sahib and perform their religious rituals.
