I have been struck with the overwhelming presence of angels these days. I am sure they have always been here, but the consciousness of the planet is shifting and our awareness is becoming more acute. We are tending to the subtle in an increasingly astute fashion and maybe, maybe, opening up more to the magic and miracles which surround and are with us in every moment of everyday. And if they are being able to participate and reveal themselves in greater clarity we must be changing. Something is certainly changing, and whatever is happening is surely just a precursor of what is to come.

We live in a time in which there is little territory left to be discovered. The pioneers of our Grandmothers and Grandfathers were replaced by the pioneers of space and technology. London, Peru, Thailand, Canada… it is all the same and immediately available, literally at the touch of a button. When I was a child a long distance call from another town or state was quite expensive and considered a treat. It didn’t happen often and we all gathered around to share the excitement. Now I can receive a text message from Italy instantly and it is no big deal, just part of everyday.

“Aquarian or Bust.” Are we the pioneers of the New Age; uncharted and mysterious territories where no one has gone before? “Beam me up Scotty” is no longer futuristic but here. The Calistoga of yesteryear is the awakened spirit of today and we are homesteading for higher ground. Horace Greeley wrote in the New Yorker “…If you have no family or friends to aid you . . . turn your face to the Great West and there build up your home and fortune.” Somehow through all this the cry “Go West young man” burst forth and man, woman and child loaded up their wagons and headed out to claim a stake on the new land.

What we know was this was not new land. It had been tended to and cared for by ancient tribes whose great love maintained its purity and sacred nature. There is always that which comes before us. Humans are never the first, most commonly the last. Before us comes the flora and fauna; beasts of the field, birds of the air. Tribes or peoples live upon land in respect for all which comes before and after.

So I am wondering, as we are in the throes of the Aquarian Age and the “pioneering” of a new “territory”, who is already there? Who and what has always been there; tending this space, the ancient “ness” of the knowing, maintained and respected in its purity and sacred nature?. What is the flora and fauna of this new age which has existed since before the dawn of time? What are the faces and names, the languages, cultures and dress of the new age? What does family, society, commerce and religion or spirit look like? And in this regard, how can we be pioneering, wouldn’t we need to look at being the new neighbors?

2guided (12K)Humans have a history of taking by force. In the Piscean way there is no friendly merger, but hostile takeovers, filled with subterfuge and intrigue. We create war, large and small to serve our endeavors and satisfy our agendas; while attempting to convince this is the better way, better for everyone…really… no really. Out with the old, in with the new…

But "the times they are a changin" and as the Piscean Age passes so must Piscean ways and in order to embrace the Aquarian Age we must embrace Aquarian ways… and merging is truly the new territory of the future; To live in respect to all. To know I am no greater or lesser than anyone or anything and to understand my place in the scheme of the whole. To honor where I have come from as well the now with awareness of the future, and to listen and watch, quietly, those which have come before me, so I can learn the “lay of the land”, the balance; the ways.

I have a good friend who has made many missionary trips into other lands and cultures. They bui ld churches, dig wells, bring medicines, blankets, clothes etc. She told me they are the truly most humbling experiences of her life. She said “I thought, in my ignorance, I was going to bring them something which they lacked, enhance their life, teach them something new. Boy, I couldn’t have been more wrong. They are the ones; they are the ones who changed my life. From my abundance I gave them things, which did not come from my home, but were donated by others. From their humble lives they gave their absolute best; from their own hearth and home, they gave their smiles and their hearts.”

I am thinking they changed each others lives. There was an exchange in the merge which enriched them both. Merging is the way of the future, it is the way of the heart and the ultimate intercourse, in which seeds are planted and new life is birthed. Merging denies nothing; it is gentle and kind, conscious and smart. It unites the best of all worlds with respect to all traditions and works together to determine which will best serve the whole. It is the Sacred Council and Divine Yoga, combining breath, mantra and mudra. It honors the voices of the ancestors and children. It walks the path of the animals and marks the flight of the birds. It reminds me of the Bible passage, 1 Corinthians 13.

So maybe the angels are bearing gifts. Could they have stories to tell, and visions to bring, strains of music or the scents of flowers. Could they bring with them the flavors and languages, colors and textures of an age whose linear time is approaching, but has always existed beyond time and space? I have gifts to bring also, we all do. We have agreed to do this together, to bring all we have to this time and place and be present in the crossover. It is heralded and prophesied, and we all give and receive in this great Union. As we move into the new let us all remember to greet our new neighbors, take walks through the mountains and valleys, tread softly on the grasses; be wise, be heartfelt, tend to the Golden Rule and Merge in the promise of Love.

3blessings-posters (22K)~1 Corinthians 13 ~

If I speak in the tongues of men and of angels, but have not love, I am only a resounding gong or a clanging cymbal. If I have the gift of prophecy and can fathom all mysteries and all knowledge, and if I have a faith that can move mountains, but I have not love, then I am nothing. If I give all I possess to the poor and surrender my body to the flames, but have not love, I gain nothing. Love is patient, love is kind. It does not envy, it does not boast, it is not proud. It is not rude, it is not self-seeking, it is not easily angered, it keeps no record of wrongs. Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. Love never fails. But where there are prophecies, they will cease; where there are tongues, they will be stilled; where there is knowledge, it will pass away. For we know in part and we prophesy in part, but when perfection comes, the imperfect disappears. When I was a child, I talked like a child; I thought like a child, I reasoned like a child. When I became a man, I put childish ways behind me. Now we see but a poor reflection as in a mirror; then we shall see face to face. Now I know in part; then I shall know fully, even as I am fully known. And now these three remain: faith, hope and love. But the greatest of these is love.
