As many promise to spend the day updating facebook statuses and tweeting about his birthday and/or arguing about whether he is shaheed or not – what many have forgotten is that the struggle against injustice, and aspirations for freedom are not contingent upon one man, or his return.

This tale of bravery, fearlessness and courage in the face of overwhelming odds is both magnificent and inspiring!

I believe comics are a great medium to educate as well as entertain kids. Christianity/Hinduism/Judaism can create animated shows and movies about their religion. For Sikhs, making movies of their Gurus is not blasphemous but considered highly irreverent. I think the next best medium after animation or movies is comic books.
