We’ve become a country where race is no longer so black or white.

On the other hand, we all regularly participate in a system that protects a select few, and we all play roles that contribute to the denigration of others.

It had background characters who were people of colour. And, here and there, it had anti-heroes and villains who were people of colour … one of whom, Khan Noonian Singh, became well-nigh iconic.
