Bhai Sud
Once upon a time, in a village in the Punjab, there was a very old man named Bhai Sud. He was 86 years old and he was well known for being truly wise. One day, as he was taking his daily walk, he saw the village chief running around in a frantic hurry. He yelled to Bhai Sud in alarm, "Bhai Sud Ji, there is a gang of bandits coming this way! They have been going from village to village, stealing everything, killing people and destroying everything in their path!"

Once a long time ago there was a thief. His father had trained him to be a thief. He was a really good thief because he listened to everything his father taught him about stealing. One thing his father told him was this: "Never listen to anything a saint says. Don't even listen to a single word out of the mouth of a saint. If you hear what saints say, you will not be able to be a thief." He was the best thief around.

The Throne of Lahore
During the time of Maharaja Ranjit Singh there was a famous bandit stealing from people. The Maharaja offered "I will offer two villages to anyone who catches this robber alive." The bandit in return posted his own offer, "If anyone can catch me alive I will give them the throne of Lahore." Along came a brave Singh to battle with the bandit to stop his reign. Will the Singh win and be given the throne of Lahore?

Ungali Maal and Buddha
The wise and fearless master who came to be known as 'Buddha', ventured in to the woods where a ferocious murderer lived. This murderer found he could not scare this calm master. Buddha politely gave him a lesson which impressed the murderer so much he changed his ways. He never stole or killed again, instead he began listening to divine teachings and giving to charity.

Bhoomi Daku's Promise to the Guru
A robber named, Bhumi Daku, met Guru Nanak. He promised the Guru certain things. Later these promises made chaos as they changed how he could steal from people. The whole scene gets turned up side down but Bhumi Daku kept his promises to the Guru. He ended up learning a great lesson. The Guru taught him in such a wonderful way!
